All our designs are made by UK Factories which we visit regularly, or by highly skilled Face Lace artisans trained by Phyllis herself, paid a UK living wage. We believe in transparency and we will not work with overseas factories unable to prove 100% safe, ethical treatment of their staff.

For our Crystal Designs
We only use Glass crystals for their greater clarity and sparkle, no cheaper plastic versions.

Sustainability
We are searching for more sustainable options for the top layers of our designs. At present 20% of our designs use paper rather than plastic top layers. Here at Face-Lace we recycle our waste using Recorra Recycling Specialists, for plastic and composite materials. Recorra was founded by Friends of the Earth, and provide innovative solutions that achieve the best environmental outcomes and promote circular economies. The company has accreditation from the internationally recognised Quality Management Systems, ESA Environmental Services Association, and is a member of Recoup – the Charity and leading authority providing expertise and guidance across the plastics recycling value chain.
Our Customers can opt to have several designs put into one sleeve to save on cost and packaging. Our packaging uses FSC approved card only.
Since many of our designs are made by our artisans, we produce in smaller quantities to create minimum waste.
